Good afternoon-
So we are going to start with human trafficking, specifically child sex trafficking in America throughout our nation, state to state, city to city, community to community.
For decades, we have been talking about human trafficking, child sex trafficking, how horrific this abuses is and how to stop it, we have fought to end child sex trafficking in America, and around the world.
But the last couple of years we have talked about how our borders are unsecured how they have been opened by our government; how our American government has put 85,000 immigrant children in the hands of the cartel and traffickers.
Now millions of immigrants have come from all over the world into America, they have flooded our nation our states, cities and communities you cannot turn a blind eye to these people. These human beings that stand on every corner walk-through our neighborhoods.
Who are not asking for a handout but only what they were promised from the governments, a job, a home, schools to put their children in to be a part of the community to contribute to society. No, not all of them are here for that purpose. There are those who are here to harm Americans to harm America in general, but the majority want a better life for themselves and for their children. I believe what has been done, is now up the citizens of the United States to make right.
So now we have even a larger vulnerable population subject to human trafficking. With the Venezuela in immigrants that have come into Colorado that were set up in the hotels, ran by the cities are only eligible to stay in the hotels for 37 days after that, they are put on the streets to fend for themselves. They have been told it takes nine months to get papers to get a work permit. If they can’t work, they can’t buy food. They can’t find a place to live for them and their children and their family so they are left to living intense on the street. The city will go and sweep their locations and kick them out.
So we are going to educate, train and make this community aware of human trafficking. This includes the immigrants that have come into the community that has been here and the volunteers who have put themselves out there, exposed themselves to help these people in desperate need.
We have awesome NE Denver Community Group who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, for these people. This is what a Good Samaritan looks like. And as a believer and follower of Christ, we are to imitate the actions and works of Christ also.
